The problem: How can I make it easier and more exciting for people to capture how a trip actually felt?

The problem is not having memories to capture, but making journaling easy enough to fit naturally into a trip. Instead of asking users to write complete diary entries, the experience encourages quick thoughts and feelings that can be captured in the moment.

The Solution

My Travel Journal is a gamified AI travel journal where short entries gradually build a personalized digital house. Each house represents one journey and becomes a visual time capsule that users can revisit after the trip.

AI Visualization

AI understands details within each journal entry, such as mood, location, atmosphere, and experiences, and translates them into visual characteristics that shape the house. Instead of writing memories for the user, AI gives personal memories a visual form.

Future

I want to add sound effects next, so the village has an atmosphere and not just a look. A house that hums quietly when you open it, a chime when a friend guesses right.

After that, release it into the real world. A good app needs more users than just me, and the guessing loop only really proves itself once strangers are playing it with each other.
